However, the streamer has popular hits in other genres too, like Ted Lasso for the heartfelt comedy and The Morning Show for the prestige drama. Both shows have been around for years, and while The Morning Show is confirmed to return next year for one final season, the fate of Ted Lasso has still yet to be decided. There is another show on Apple that’s not only been renewed for one more season, but it even has two new seasons already in the works.

We’re talking, of course, about Slow Horses, the Apple TV spy thriller starring Gary Oldman and Jack Lowden. Slow Horses has been in the news even more so than usual lately due to the swirling rumors that star Jack Lowden has been cast as the next James Bond. This has not been officially confirmed at the time of writing in early November, but he is among the names reportedly being considered to take over the role of 007 from Daniel Craig.

The sixth season of Slow Horses recently aired on Apple TV back in September, and after going off the air on October 21, the show is still a force to be reckoned with on streaming. It’s performing so well across the entire year that it’s now been in the top 10 for over 300 days now.

Apple TV has yet to set a specific release date for Slow Horses Season 7, but it has been confirmed that it will premiere in 2027. Better yet, Slow Horses Season 8 has already been confirmed for 2028, so the show will be around for at least another two years, if not longer. Each season of Slow Horses is also only six episodes, so the show is a quick weekend binge, even with six seasons to watch. Olivia Cooke (House of the Dragon) has also starred in several episodes of Slow Horses across six seasons as Sid Baker.

Check out the first six seasons of Slow Horses on Apple TV, and stay tuned to Collider for more updates and coverage of Seasons 7 and 8.
