For fans who followed My Hero Academia from Izuku Midoriya's first nervous steps at U.A. to the climactic battles of its final saga, one major home-video release is still arriving. Crunchyroll has officially scheduled My Hero Academia Season 7 – The Complete Season for October 20, 2026, giving U.S. collectors one more chance to own the anime's penultimate season in a single Blu-ray package.
The release is part of Crunchyroll's October 2026 home-video lineup, but My Hero Academia stands apart because this edition is a complete-season collection and a Walmart exclusive. Walmart's current listing confirms the October 20 release date and identifies the set as a four-disc Blu-ray release, making this more than another split seasonal volume for longtime viewers.
Season 7 is one of My Hero Academia's most consequential installments, adapting the manga's increasingly intense conflict between the heroes and villains. Rather than breaking the season into multiple home-video purchases, the Complete Season edition packages the entire television run together, a much cleaner option for collectors building the series from U.A.'s earliest days onward.
Crunchyroll's official announcement places My Hero Academia Season 7 – The Complete Season among the October 20 releases, alongside several other anime home-video titles. The distinction matters because the set follows earlier releases for Season 7, including Part 1 and Part 2, effectively giving fans a single-package alternative to buying those installments separately.
The Walmart product listing adds some useful specifics that make the collection especially appealing. The four Blu-ray discs contain episodes 139 through 159, covering all 21 regular episodes of Season 7, while the package also includes four recap episodes and the “U.A. Heroes Battle” OVA. That makes the set substantially more complete than the episode count alone suggests.
Season 7 begins with My Hero Academia's heroes facing a conflict that has escalated far beyond ordinary villain attacks, pushing students, pros, and former rivals into battles with enormous consequences. Its story moves through the Star and Stripe conflict, the continuing war against All For One and Shigaraki, and the desperate struggle to protect Japan.
For viewers who already own Season 7 Part 1 or Part 2, the Complete Season release may seem redundant, but its appeal is straightforward: everything is consolidated in one physical collection. The four-disc format also makes it easier for collectors to shelve the season as one unit instead of maintaining separate Part 1 and Part 2 cases.
The inclusion of the four recap episodes and “U.A. Heroes Battle” gives longtime fans another reason to consider the package. The OVA is particularly notable because it offers a side story involving U.A. students outside the main television narrative, while the additional recap material provides a convenient refresher for anyone revisiting the final stretch of the franchise.
The timing makes the October 20 release especially notable. My Hero Academia concluded its television run with Season 8, but Season 7 is still a huge bridge between the series' sprawling middle chapters and its final anime chapter. For collectors, getting this season in a complete Blu-ray edition helps preserve that transition physically rather than leaving another gap on the shelf.
The Walmart exclusivity also gives the release a different retail footprint from a standard Crunchyroll home-video launch. Crunchyroll's announcement specifically identifies the Complete Season 7 set as a Walmart exclusive, while Walmart's listing currently shows it for preorder at $34.96. The price may change, but the listing confirms that the release is positioned as a mass-retail collector option.
My Hero Academia, after a prolonged break, is finally returning with a massive new release scheduled for December 2026.
Most importantly, this release gives My Hero Academia another physical milestone after years of Blu-ray and DVD editions split across multiple seasons and parts. With all 21 Season 7 episodes, four recap installments, and the “U.A. Heroes Battle” OVA gathered onto four discs, and available on Crunchyroll for streaming, October 20 delivers one of the franchise's most convenient physical collections yet.
