Netflix is celebrating one of its most popular TV shows with a new release. In honor of Stranger Things Day, the streaming platform dropped a brand-new blooper reel from the fifth and final season of the series, giving fans another chance to revisit the characters they have come to know and love, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the final chapter.

Netflix has now released a blooper reel for Stranger Things season 5. The video offers fans a more lighthearted look at the show's final season through footage from the cast's time on set. The release comes nearly a year after the conclusion of the main series. Check out the reel below:

Created by Matt and Ross Duffer, Stranger Things premiered on Netflix in July 2016 and became one of the streaming service's most popular original series. The show follows a group of friends in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, whose lives are transformed by disturbing events, secret government experiments, and an alternate dimension known as the Upside Down. After nearly a decade, the story concluded with its run in December 2025.

The final chapter of Stranger Things brought back many of the show's main stars, including Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Noah Schnapp (Will Byers), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair), and Sadie Sink (Max Mayfield). It also sees the return of Joe Keery (Steve Harrington), Natalia Dyer (Nancy Wheeler), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan Byers), Maya Hawke (Robin Buckley), Winona Ryder (Joyce Byers), and David Harbour (Jim Hopper).

For many of these actors, Stranger Things launched their careers. Brown, Wolfhard, Schnapp, Matarazzo, and McLaughlin were all children when the series began, with audiences watching their characters grow up on screen across five seasons. The final installment was the end of an era for the young cast as they transitioned from child stars to taking on more mature roles.

Although Stranger Things has ended its run, Netflix is continuing to honor the show's legacy every November 6, a very important date for the franchise. The annual celebration falls on the day Will Byers disappeared in 1983, the event that set the hit science fiction series in motion. Will's disappearance brought his friends and Eleven together. Their search for him eventually led the group to discover the existence of the Upside Down and establish the world of the franchise, as well as inspiring several spinoffs.

All episodes of Stranger Things seasons 1 through 5 are available to stream on Netflix now.
